The Swan neck gates pictured are expertly crafted from premium 70mm thick Douglas Fir and feature a double long throw lock for enhanced security. For smaller areas, we offer customizable side gates built using 2x4 (38x89) treated timber, available with or without a frame and your choice of feather edge or tongue and groove front.

Our Story

The Natural Workshop was founded by Michelle in 2013, starting in our garage as a way for her to earn an income while also raising our children. Our business quickly flourished, and in 2017, we acquired our first physical business location.

Over the years, things progressed and I decided to leave my full-time job as a Surveyor to become a partner in the business. We strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance, managing our small business while prioritizing our family.

I Ordered a bespoke log store for my living room. The Natural Workshop made our product to my measurements so it fit perfectly into an alcove. I gave a few design criteria without specifically designing it myself. They interpreted what I wanted and even matched it to the wooden furniture which I already own.
